Free Pottery Clay Handbuilding Templates
Templates have been redone with a grid background in an attempt to reduce the toner/ink used by printing. Sizes that can fit on a single page are positioned so that assembly is not required. Unnecessary interior patterns have been removed from PDF files. These changes were made based on feedback received by visitors to this site. Assembly instructions are available for the below handbuilding pottery templates.
Handbuilding Template One
A basic circle pattern with the center cut-out. Sizes range from three inches to twelve inches. The PDF file of templates has eleven pages. Template two is a circle with an off-set cut out. Sizes expand from three to twelve inches. The PDF file consists eleven pages. Eight- through twelve-inch clay slab patterns cross four pages each.

Another off-set circular template that is similar to template two with some added whimsey. Dimensions range from three to twelve inches. There are two PDF files with a total of nineteen pages. Eight-inch through twelve-inch ceramic patterns cross multiple pages and will need to be assembled.

Template four is a square template with a ruffled edge. Sizes are scaled between three inches to twelve inches. Pottery templates eight through twelve cross multiple pages. The PDF file contains eleven pages.
